This book presents the proceedings of the 34th annual IDIMT conference.
Past experience has shown that resilience is essential, yet often overlooked. Even a minor issue can cause major disruption when only the “normal” or expected case is considered. This applies to software development (security), AI (reliability of outputs), and the design and use of systems in business and society, including marketing, social media, supply chains and autonomous systems.
We examine resilience from technical, ethical and management perspectives, discussing its role in the design, implementation, transformation and use of ICT systems across various contexts, particularly crisis scenarios where resilience is indispensable.
We have chosen the following 11 topics for 2026:
- Early Career & Student Showcase (Sonntag)
- New Paths to tackle Complex Crisis: Decision support by AI and decentralized data management (Neubauer, Rainer)
- Cyberresilience for Security (Sonntag)
- Multiple ethical aspects and limits of ICT resilience (Lisnik)
- Data, AI and Digital-Driven Transformation: Shaping Sustainable Digital Futures (Pucihar)
- Resilience for Autonomous Systems (Schoitsch)
- Data Governance, Data Analytics & AI (Doucek)
